ABOUT OUR PROJECT

"Art will save the world", said Fyodor Dostoyevsky. With this in mind, we want to create a place of mingling and encounters that fully reflects the image of this beautiful and welcoming city. We want to offer the target audience a variety of theatre performances in several languages, in particular German, English and French, by authors from all over the world, in different genres.

GIT will be built around several objectives of the organisation and will contribute to learning about the cultures of the world and promoting solidarity and intelligent cohesion. As Nelson Mandela said: ‘Education is the most powerful weapon to change the world’. We believe that more knowledge, more theatre, more literature and any other form of art shared on a larger scale is essential for progress, i.e. for a more harmonious functioning and for the understanding and acceptance of the other. And finally, in the powerful words of Desmond Tutu: "My humanity is bound up with yours, for we can only be human together".
